MAKEUP & FASHION GO HAND & HAND HERE IS OUR 2022 “GILDED GLAMOR AND WHITE TIE”, THEMED META GALA FASHION FAVORITES~

THE BIGGEST names in showbiz have showcased their astounding looks at the 2022 Met Gala in New York City with a theme; “Gilded Glamor and White tie”.

Blake Lively looked stunning on the red carpet in a Versace gown inspired by architecture and adorned with copper-toned metal, paying homage to New York landmarks like the Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal, and the Statue of Liberty. When the dramatic bow on her dress was untied, an ombre train of bronze to green was revealed. As part of the dress’s duchesse train, there is also a hand-painted, foiled, and embroidered map that features the 12 zodiac constellations found on Grand Central Terminal’s ceiling. She had custom jewelry made by jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz. In honor of the Statue of Liberty, Lively wore a copper tiara adorned with 100 carats of nude and bronze diamonds and Paraiba tourmalines. She complimented the tiara with earrings made with 90 carats of nude diamonds in spike shapes and mint-green Colombian emeralds.

As makeup artist Kristofer Buckle shared, he used Charlotte Tilbury’s magic cream and crystal elixir from start to finish. The rest of Buckle’s glam was on the theme, starting by blending eyes to mesmerize in chocolate bronze with pillow talk’s luxury palette. Her eye shadow was a combination of matte warm browns for structure, metallic rose golds, and copper to play off her Versace gown,” the makeup artist explained. He finished off with Pillow Talk lash mascara and applied terra cotta and sienna to the lips to add a touch of optimism to an otherwise monochromatic look. Together with her husband Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively was an undeniably breathtakingly beautiful couple.

Kim Kardashian never disappoints on the red carpet with her blonde hair, nude lips, fluttery lashes, and soft nude eyeshadow. As a step further, Kim wore the exact Jean-Louis gown that the icon wore when she sang “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” at Madison Square Garden in 1962 for President John F. Kennedy Jr.’s 45th birthday. Originally costing $12,000, the gold beaded dress was designed by Jean Louis. Kim was accompanied by Pete Davis. Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum loaned Kim Kardashian the dress!

With black silk chiffon, a sheer tulle corset, tulle drapes at the shoulder, a thigh-high slit, and wide skirt, Kerry Washington stunned us on the red carpet in a sexy custom Tory Burch gown paired with diamond jewelry and Jimmy Choo platform heels. Kerry’s makeup was more dramatic with black liner, dramatic lashes, and nude lips.
